Gallon Grape - from concentrate (October 19, 2006)

NOTE: This grape concentrate was from Aldi's. It may have had more additives than the standard "Welch's" that is recommended with the concentrate recipes.

DAY ONE
Mix with water.

DAY FIVE

Transferred to secondary at SG 1.025.

THREE WEEKS

Racked off of the lees (wait a couple of weeks longer next time).

THREE MONTHS

Racked again. Tastes like grape juice:oops:

NINE MONTHS

Slight, carbonated feel, but good flavor. Nothing added.

NOTE: Next time, if there is a carbonated taste, degass with a power drill and plastic coat hanger.
