Pressed these four days ago. Never froze them.
1.048 SG at around 45 degrees. Added 2/3 c of sugar per gallon to hit 1.054.
Acid tested around 3.9
Added 5 tsp nutrient to 5 gal pear cider. Added 1/2 tsp potassium metabisulfate. Added a full packet of SafCider TF-6 right away as well. Just sprinkled it on top.
Will wait until SG falls to around 0.99.
Temp in the house where it is sitting upstairs is around 69 degrees.
